J Motel

It was easy to reach from the subway and very convenient to an interesting local market.

It had a bit of a 'love motel' atmosphere so as a woman I probably wouldn't have wanted to stay there myself.

Great value compared with other properties in the area. Friendly, English-speaking reception. Good location.

Bathroom could use a deep cleaning. Property is a bit hard to find. Property is getting slightly run down.

Very close to the subway and bujeon market. The owner speaks good english and nice.

A little bit unpleasant smell neighbourhoods because it so close to the market.

Nice staff and good location

It was old and smelled like cigarettes. Was somewhat dirty. My friend's room on the first floor had bugs. People were loud. It's a cheap love motel.

Price is very reasonable. Locat Water and juices complimentary for the first two days. Shower facility is good. Daily cleaning. Lotion, refining toner, shampoo, body wash available for free.

There is no meal available.

The staff made a great first impression. When traveling in Korea, it is common to see older Korean men and women who don't smile much or show kindness to travelers. Over time, this can make you feel sad or lonely. However, at the J Motel we were greeted with warm smiles. They helped us with our luggage and even gave us some watermelon. Of course that doesn't mean you will get watermelon if you stay here, but my point is that I felt very comfortable.

The place seemed a bit old.

Very conveniently located. The room was clean and air conditioned. It is a budget location after all so don't expect something too fancy. But I liked it. Very good deal.

The water temperature in the shower was a bit difficult to adjust.

It is very near to the subway and bus stop. Very near the market too. The room is clean and with more provisions compared to other properties. Quite easy to check in. Mr. Lee and wife are accommodating. They allowed us to leave our luggage even after check out.

It is very hard to find because it is inside an alley. I am not sure if the property is tagged via GPS properly. Even taxi drivers had a hard time locating it. I suggest the following to everyone booking this property: 1. Screen grab the address in local language so taxi driver would understand. 2. Save the number of the property so you can ask the taxi driver to call the property in case you get lost (just like what we did when the driver cannot find it in GPS) 3. Tell the driver it is very near the Presbyterian Church and Shinshin Hotel which are much more visible than the property. If you see any of these two, you can already get off the taxi and walk your way to J Motel. Or if you took the subway or bus, you can use these two landmarks to find J Motel more easily.

The room is big enough, clean and everything was nice. They provided useful room facilities and I really liked it. I will recommend friends to stay here.

Good location near metro station. Value for money friendly helpful staff. Cable tv channels in English.

Not the hotels fault but it is a little tricky to find down a small alley.
